Since its founding, St. Paul's has expanded from its original 6 classrooms to the current 22, which include a science lab, library/media center, choir/music rooms, early literacy lab, art studio, and athletic gym. The Principal supervises the faculty and academic staff and reports directly to the Pastor of St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Community.RequirementsCandidate Qualifications & Skills:The Principal shall be a person who has an engaging personality, is organized and well-rounded, and who facilitates growth and collaboration inside and outside of the classroom.The principal:Is a faith-filled practicing Catholic with a strong commitment to Catholic education.Has at least a Master's degree in an education-related discipline.Has an administrative certification in the State of California, or the ability to obtain it.Has a track record of demonstrated successes in elementary or middle school teaching.Has demonstrated leadership/administrative experience.Has improved the practice of faculty and instructional staff through observation, evaluation, and coaching.Collaborates and communicates effectively and is able to positively motivate and inspire faculty, staff, parents, and students to carry out the school's mission.Wage RangeThe rate of pay offered to the selected candidate is based on internal pay policy and budget. New hires are commonly paid at the minimum of the wage range or within the lower part of the range.
