This role involves leveraging the combined strengths of Red Hat's open-source technologies and AWS's scalable cloud infrastructure to meet NAVWAR's mission-critical requirements. This approach helps deliver secure, compliant, and agile cloud solutions that align with DoD mandates.RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Ensure the operational cloud environment is designed to meet NAVWAR's specific operational requirements, including security, scalability, and reliability.
• Utilize cloud services (such as IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS) to improve operational efficiency and reduce IT overhead.
• Implement robust security measures like encryption, identity and access management (IAM), and continuous monitoring to protect sensitive data.
• Manage workloads across multi-cloud environments while ensuring compliance with policies.
• Support the migration of legacy systems and applications to the cloud.
• Ensure seamless integration of cloud solutions with existing NAVWAR infrastructure, including networks, databases, and communications systems.REQUIREMENTS:
• 7-9 years' experience in the analysis, development and support of computer software for DOD computer automated systems.
• 4-6 years' experience working with containerization, Red Hat and/or AWS cloud infrastructure.
• Minimum of 4 years' experience in object-oriented analysis and design.
• Ability to develop/document/implement new processes.
• Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and MS Word.
• Excellent written and oral communications skills.
• Detail oriented.QUALIFICATIONS:
• Experience with Ansible automation platform.
• Experience with Red Hat and one (or multiple) certifications - RH Systems Administrator, RH Certified Engineer, Red Hat Certified in Containers, or OpenShift Admin.
• Experience with AWS and one (or multiple) certifications - AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner, AWS Solutions Architect, AWS SysOps Administrator, or AWS Certified Solutions Engineer.EDUCATION:
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Physics, or Math from an accredited college or university.
• Master's degree in any of the preceding disciplines may be substituted for one year of general experience.BENEFITS:
