Job Description:

We're looking for a highly motivated and energetic individual who shares our passion for specialty coffee, tea, and customer service. Duties include preparing specialty coffee and espresso beverages, maintaining beverage safety and cleanliness standards, and providing excellent customer service.Responsibilities include:

• Preparing specialty coffee and espresso beverages, including latte art
• Maintaining beverage safety and cleanliness standards by completing delegated tasks
• Having an open mind to learning new things and embracing change
• Ensuring all items are dated and following First in First Out (FIFO) standards
• Weighing, grinding, or packing coffee beans for guests according to their specifications
• Operating the POS system ensuring accuracy of cash drops and authenticity of bills
• Executing tasks with efficiency and grace while maintaining a sense of urgency throughout servicePhysical requirements include:
  • Ability to exert well-paced mobility for up to 8 hours, including standing, walking, bending, and squatting
  • Regularly lifting and moving up to 30 lbs (Coffee bags, milk crates, paper goods, etc.)
  • Ability to work all operational hoursQualifications include:
    • Knowledgeable and enthusiastic about coffee, tea, and drink preparation
    • Must be able to perform latte artwork
    • Outstanding communication and guest service skills
    • 1+ year barista experience on an espresso machine preferred
    • Good problem-solving techniques and ability to do so with pace, empathy, and sometimes under pressure
    • Ability to perform simple mathematical calculations and follow directions for all production
    • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as requiredPhysical and mental demands are moderate.
      Additional requirements include:
      1+ year barista experience on an espresso machine and ability to work all operational hours.
