Job Description:

SR. ETL DEVELOPER (San Diego, CA):
Design & development of ETL mappings, mapplets, sessions & workflows to load data from source to target databases using Informatica Power Center & fine-tuned mappings to improve performance.
Interact with customers to gather requirements & business logic for design & development.
Create Type 1 & Type 2 Slowly Changing Dimension Mappings to update Slowly Changing Dimension database tables.
Create & review Informatica ETL Mappings to load data using transformations like Source Qualifier, Sorter, Aggregator, Expression, Joiner, look-ups, Stored Procedure transformation, functions, Filters, Sequence, Router, Union & Update Strategy adhering to coding standards.
Actively participate in data modeling; in implementation of Data Vault methodology; & in identifying Hub, Link & Satellite tables.
Be involved in dimensional modeling & design Star/Snowflake Data Models for Enterprise Data Warehouse.
Write complex SQL scripts to avoid Informatica look-ups to improve performance.
Develop Trend Lines, Statistics & Log Axes, groups, hierarchies, sets to create detail level summary report & Dashboard using KPIs (ix) Data Analysis, Data Integration & Data Modeling.
Required: MS (or equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering (Computer/Electrical/Mechanical/Industrial) or a related field & 2 years of experience in positions involving similar duties/technical capabilities to the offered position.
Must be willing to travel and/or relocate to work in various unanticipated locations throughout the US.
