Solugenix is assisting a client, a prestigious and large investment management company, in their search for a Sr. ETL Developer. This is a 6-month contract opportunity based out of Irvine, CA (Onsite).

We are seeking a skilled ETL Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in ETL processes, data integration, and database management. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining ETL workflows, ensuring data accuracy, and optimizing performance.

Qualifications:

10+ years of IT experience.
5+ years of experience as an ETL Developer or similar role.
Proficiency in Informatica.
Good UNIX knowledge and scripting skills.
Strong knowledge of SQL, stored procedures, and database optimization (Oracle, SQL Server).
Experience with data modeling, schema design, and data warehousing concepts.
Very good communication skills.
Strong problem-solving, troubleshooting, and analytical skills.

Responsibilities: Design, develop, and maintain ETL workflows using tools such as Informatica, JMS, Oracle, SQL Server, Tableau or similar toolsets.
Extract, transform, and load data from various sources into data warehouses and data lakes.
Optimize ETL performance, troubleshoot data issues, and ensure data quality.
Demonstrable ability to utilize ETL specialist knowledge to advise & support team members in their technical activities in both project & operational environments.
Work with business analysts and data architects to understand data requirements and implement solutions.
Develop SQL scripts, stored procedures, and performance-tuned queries.
Implement data validation and cleansing processes to ensure accuracy.
Create and maintain technical documentation, including data mappings and workflow diagrams.
Support data migration, integration, and automation projects.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including data engineers, BI developers, and business stakeholders.
Ensure security and compliance of data processes according to organizational standards.

Pay Range for CA, CO, IL, NJ, NY, WA, and DC: $70/hour to $70/hour. Starting rate of pay offered may vary depending on factors including but not limited to, position offered, location, education, training, and/or experience.
