Job Description:

Are you a people-person? Do you enjoy working with and educating patients? If so, we are looking for someone like you - an outgoing, reliable, customer-focused individual with a strong work ethic. We are small, but busy private Optometry practice in Irvine. We require at least 2 years of recent optical experience. Pay determined based on level of experience. We are looking for a full-time optician, but would consider part-time as needed. Our office is open Tuesday - Friday 10 am - 7 pm and Saturday 8 am - 3 pm. Primary duties include, but not limited to: Assisting patients with frame and lens selection Educating patients on lens options and insurance benefits Placing orders for glasses Insurance billing Pre-testing patients Dispensing glases Assisting patients with adjustments and repairs to their glasses Contact lens training Maintaining frame displays Occasionally answering phones, scheduling patients, and pulling insurance authorizations.
