Volt is immediately hiring for Team Lead Shipping & Receivig/Forklift Certified in San Marcos, Ca.



SUMMARY:
Performs manual and clerical duties associated with receiving, picking, stocking, shipping, packing, and counting of material to production, customers, and suppliers. Looking for a candidate with leadership experience.



As a Lead Shipping & Receiving/Forklift Certified you will:

Support maturing our shipping process.
Shipping (primary)
Manage consumable shipping supplies (primary)
Receiving
Move the current Shipping/Receiving Clerk into a material handling role.
Material movement/kitting
Operate Forklift
Support inventory cycle



This is a full time opportunity



The ideal candidate will have:

Team Lead in a warehouse setting, skill set & knowledge
Shipping & Receiving experience
Forklift Certification
MS Office
Reduce shipping delays.
Increase utilization of assembly operators by eliminating material handling tasks.
Improve inventory accuracy/management by reducing the number of operators accessing "RAW" warehouse storage locations and allowing capacity for routine cycle counting.
Improve turn-around time to receive material into warehouse for use in production.



Pay Rate $25.00-27.00/hr



*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
