At NetApp, we're all about asking for help when we need it, collaborating with others, and partnering across the organization - and beyond.Job Summary -The Worldwide Partner Incentive and Investment Director will be responsible for driving the creation, execution, and management of Big Bets Rebates process for the Partner Ecosystem in the Americas, EMEA, and Asia Pacific regions. This individual will be responsible for working with GEO leaders, segment and regional sales, route-to-market leaders, and marketing owners to develop and implement the program strategy, planning, and infrastructure that incentivizes our Global Partners. This role will closely work with key stakeholders in Sales, Route to Market, Operations, Finance, and IT to ensure a successful process is in place to support calculations and the program design to drive company initiative for their programs. Fiscal responsibility for program utilization and forecasting is a requirement as part of ensuring the health of the program and as part of the cadence of business reviews.

The Partner Incentive and Investment Director is a well-rounded individual who has excellent communication, organizational, strategical, financial/analytical, and interpersonal skills. The role requires a proven track record in messaging/positioning, program strategy and management, vendor management, forecasting, and broad execution capabilities. A requirement is to motivate, leverage, and manage internal stakeholders on a project basis in order to accomplish the investment strategy. As needed, the individual will participate in talent sourcing and cross-functional training and assistance. Responsibilities -

Lead cross-functional discussions to define the Incentive & Investment programs NetApp needs to implementDevelop program models and operational support to drive NetApp's channel goalsAssist in developing the financial model(s) that identify the impact of the programs on NetApp business worldwideIdentify the infrastructure to support the business requirements as necessary with new program goalsDevelop the launch plan and timeline necessary to implement worldwide including the communication and enablement plansDraft internal and external communications and trainingsDevelop the metrics and track those metrics back to the business requirements of the programCreate customer, partner, and internal program documents to clearly identify the benefits, terms and conditions, rules of engagement, and marketing collateral that support -programs worldwideManage the sales, business unit, Go-To-Market, and marketing team feedback on the program once launched and effectively implement a roadmap of change that maps to the NetApp business requirementsDrive the requirements of the systems necessary to support the program and the enhancements to the infrastructure that is built to support the channel partner programsDrive internal processes and methodologies to evaluate and model the potential impact of new channel partner incentives, customer discounting scenarios, and inclusion of new productsConsult with global marketing managers, finance, executives, and sales, to help identify, design, and implement the business processes necessary to implement a successful set of channel partner incentives for NetApp globallyEducation and Experience -
  • 12 or more years of relevant experience, inclusive of strategic and -people -leadership
  • 5 or more years of management responsibility
  • BA/BS degree highly preferred, MBA is a plus 10+ years of experience in Partner Incentives & Investments, Partner Programs, - Sales Operations, legal, compliance, and/or FinanceKnowledge and familiarity with a control environment such as Sarbanes-Oxley Ability to self-start and self-direct work in a fast-paced environment Previous experience in managing cross-functional teams and requirementsDemonstrated success in project management and process analysis - with skills in data analysis and ExcelExcellent organization skills, including the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects, exceptional attention to detail, and the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines Ability to relate effectively to a wide range of stakeholdersAbility to travel around 15% of the time - -Compensation:
    The target salary range for this position is $219,000 - $326,000. The salary offered will be determined by the candidate's location, qualifications, experience, and education and may be outside of this range. Final compensation packages are competitive and in line with industry standards, reflecting a variety of factors, and include a comprehensive benefits package. This may cover Health Insurance, Life Insurance, Retirement or Pension Plans, Paid Time Off (PTO), various Leave options, Performance-Based Incentives, employee stock purchase plan, and/or restricted stocks (RSU's), with all offerings subject to regional variations and governed by local laws, regulations, and company policies.
